Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Regional Director of Operations - Commercial Lines to lead operations across the regional sub-division from our Atlanta area presence. This hybrid role requires oversight of budgeting, performance, policy execution, and collaboration with producers and acquisitions.
The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years in insurance with 3+ years in management, active licensing, and strong people skills.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of industry experience.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- Active licensing in required jurisdictions.
- Outstanding people management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Strategic and tactical plan implementation across the sub-Region/Region.
- Budgeting and P&L management for the region.
- Lead and develop the regional operations team.
- Recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
- Ensure HR processes and policy compliance are followed.
- Drive process improvements and core work standards.
- Collaborate with branch and regional sales teams to resolve issues.
- Travel to branch operations teams regularly.
