Job summary

Metropolis is seeking a strategic Director of Business Development to own a regional territory (Cincinnati/Louisville). You will drive net-new business, manage full sales cycles, and liaise with marketing, operations and legal to achieve growth using AI-driven solutions in parking and real estate.

Expect to lead discovery sessions, tailor proposals, and build lasting relationships with asset managers and real estate partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in B2B business development, sales, or related roles.
• Experience selling into asset managers, ownership groups, or other real estate partners.
• Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
• Data-literate with experience in pipeline management and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle in Cincinnati/Louisville region from prospecting to close.
• Identify and develop net-new business opportunities via multiple channels.
• Lead client presentations, discovery sessions, and proposals.
• Build and manage relationships across stakeholder groups.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and legal to align goals.
• Monitor pipeline development and sales performance in CRM.
• Travel regionally to support clients and prospecting as needed.
