Job summary

Asset Living in California seeks a Regional Manager, Affordable Housing to oversee a portfolio of housing communities. You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage operations across leasing, maintenance, and finances.

You will lead budgeting, marketing plans, and risk management while ensuring fair housing practices and LIHTC compliance. Travel 25–50% is required.

Qualifications

Affordable housing experience including LIHTC or similar programs.
Prior experience as a Regional Manager in housing/real estate.
Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in housing industry.
CAM or ARM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee operations of housing community portfolio and ensure compliance with policies.
Supervise on-site staff, hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
Develop yearly budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide periodic financial reporting.
Lead strategic leasing and marketing efforts to optimize occupancy and rent levels.
Ensure regulatory compliance and fair housing practices; liaise with regulatory agencies as needed.
Coordinate maintenance and administrative activities; ensure timely reporting and risk management.
