Job summary

Alpha Networks is seeking a dynamic Director of Community Relations to drive enrollment growth by expanding regional relationships. You will design and host events, recruit ambassadors, and connect families with mentors while engaging public officials and business leaders.

You will travel regularly to host gatherings, manage budgets, and document outcomes in our CRM. A track record of tangible results and extensive relationship-building is essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience growing a community or client base through relationships with measurable results.
• Experience designing and running at least 20 gatherings total, including three events with 100+ attendees and ten with 12 or fewer.
• Established working relationships with at least three elected or appointed public officials or senior executives, with demonstrable outcomes.
• One of the following: Ivy League degree; top consulting/investment banking/PR firm experience; board seat at a local anchor institution; Chief of Staff with leaders; or directed tours in foreign service.
• Consistent use of a CRM or relationship-tracking system to record contacts and first-touch sources.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver several gatherings each month, including open events and dinners, within budget.
• Secure venues, hosts and vendors, and personally host events.
• Recruit current parents as ambassadors and match them with prospective families.
• Build relationships with public officials and business executives to secure venues and opportunities.
• Connect enrolled families with mentors and alumni programs, welcoming graduates within 30 days.
• Record every gathering and introduction in the CRM with accurate sources.
