Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is seeking a motivated regional service assistant to provide excellent customer service at the Career Employment Center and to support regional career services. The role includes front desk duties, class support, and coordination of services across local partnerships.

The position requires an Associate degree and four years of applicable experience in human services, office administration, or related fields, with strong computer and Salesforce skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and four years’ experience operating computer systems, providing customer service to the public, office administration, or other field related to human services, social services, or educational services setting with direct service delivery, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates welcoming environment for participants and makes referrals to services and external training.
• Updates records in Salesforce and oversees appointment calendar for orientation to services.
• Maintains a safe and confidential environment.
• Maintains knowledge of programs and local services to assist participants.
• Assists job seekers with resume building, career exploration tools, and job search activities.
• Coordinates front desk activities, visitor routing, and information inquiries.
• Receives and logs deliveries and assists with grant records and KPI reporting.
• Maintains participant logs and training calendars and materials.
• Leads planning, logistics, and support for special projects.
