Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Business Banking Manager in La Jolla, CA to lead a team of Business Banking Relationship Managers. You will set regional goals for loans, deposits, and fee income, coach staff, and ensure high service levels and prudent credit practices.

You will partner with RBMs and other teams to grow client relationships, monitor profitability, and maintain risk controls while advancing the bank's regional strategy and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of commercial lending/relationship management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing commercial relationship managers.
• Minimum 5 years of credit experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, management, sales, and marketing capabilities.
• Good understanding of all bank products and the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Business Banking Relationship Managers.
• Direct regional sales, client service and credit quality goals.
• Review and approve transactions within delegated authority.
• Promote CNB services and build a strong client calling program.
