Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager I in San Diego to acquire and deepen both personal and small business client relationships. You will act as a trusted advisor, connecting client needs with CNB's products and services while maintaining strong risk management and regulatory compliance.

You will manage a portfolio, drive new business, and collaborate with CNB teams to ensure exemplary service, leveraging a defined business development plan and CNB ecosystem partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial institution.
• Must be in good standing under Safe Act and registered or able to be registered under NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and deepen client relationships across personal and small business segments.
• Manage a portfolio and expand cross-sell opportunities within CNB client base.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences and resolve escalations.
• Develop banking acumen and leverage internal training resources.
• Provide holistic financial advice based on client needs and data insights.
• Remain compliant with policies, procedures, and regulations.
