Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Building Automation Solutions and Service Sales to drive sales goals in the Cleveland/Pittsburgh area, coordinating across divisions and large accounts to deliver quality products and services.

You will coach and develop sales staff, review bids, forecast revenue, and build market strategies while maintaining strong customer relationships and aligning with Siemens’ commitment to engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 8+ years of sales experience in building automation/HVAC or related fields.
• 2+ years coaching sales professionals.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for coaching and customer interfacing.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Promote team selling and expand relationships across divisions and regions; coordinate engineering and sales support.
• Drive sales team to meet targets; coach performance and conduct appraisals.
• Review bids to meet objectives; assist with margins and resource planning for large/key accounts.
• Network with Region, Branch, and HQ to share best practices and inform strategy.
• Develop sales forecasts and budgets; identify market opportunities and create growth strategies.
• Monitor competitor activity and advise on sales tactics; engage in industry events as appropriate.
