Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Building Automation Solutions Sales Manager to lead a team delivering smart building technology across the Cincinnati/Columbus area. You will promote cross-divisional selling and expand key customer relationships.

The role requires 5+ years of sales in HVAC/building automation and 3+ years in sales management, plus strong leadership, mentoring, and the ability to drive digitalization and data analytics. Travel about 10% overnight.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of sales experience in the commercial HVAC controls/building automation industry.
• 3+ years of sales management experience in the commercial HVAC controls/building automation industry.
• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and eligibility for Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Promote team selling and expand existing relationships across divisions and geographic areas.
• Support the sales process with knowledge of products, applications, and services through all phases.
• Mentor and coach sellers; manage performance and development.
• Review bids, set margins, and build executive-level relationships with contractors and customers.
• Develop sales forecasts and contribute to long-range planning and growth strategies.
• Drive Siemens' digitalization strategy, remote services, and big data analytics.
• Travel overnight ~10% on average for training and business development.
