Job summary

vnbcareers is seeking a Regional Branch Manager to lead 15-17 retail locations in the assigned New Jersey region. You will coach Branch Managers, drive branch performance, and foster a culture of accountability, engagement and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include monitoring sales metrics, guiding branch teams in deposits and loans, and building centers of influence for referrals while ensuring CRA obligations are met. This role demands strong leadership and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 7+ years of branch management or similar managerial experience.
• Demonstrated B2B sales and sales management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance, growth and sales for 15-17 branches within a region.
• Coach and develop Branch Managers to drive consistent performance.
• Build a high-performing culture focused on accountability and engagement.
• Drive deposit growth, lead generation, and community engagement activities.
• Monitor metrics and take action to sustain revenue and growth.
• Visit branches to coach leaders and develop staff for customer engagement.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Develop and maintain centers of influence for referrals in consumer, mortgage, and SMB lending.
• Set regional objectives and sales/service action plans to hit targets.
• Provide leadership, training and succession planning for all regional associates.
• Promote customer-centric experiences across branches.
• Control expenses and attrition while maximizing regional revenue opportunities.
• Conduct performance evaluations and salary reviews for staff.
• Lead recruiting and development of high-potential talent.
• Ensure CRA service obligations are met and aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate across lines of business to meet client financial needs.
