Job summary

Dexian’s Retail Banking division seeks a Vice President, Area Manager to provide leadership and oversight to Branch Managers across an assigned region. This onsite role covers Costa Mesa and nearby branches, with regular travel and visits to ensure sales, service, and regulatory compliance.

You will shape branch performance, staff development, and operational execution, partnering with leadership to drive growth, manage risk, and implement initiatives across multiple locations in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Eight+ years in branch operations and/or sales management in banking.
• Five+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking operations, policies, products, sales practices, marketing, financial management, and applicable regulations.
• Proficient with MS Office and banking software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Branch Managers across the region.
• Drive branch sales performance and customer service standards.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, and coaching.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Visit branches regularly and travel within the region.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement improvement plans.
• Collaborate on training, marketing, and product initiatives.
• Manage budgets and cost controls to maximize profitability.
