Job summary

Poppy Bank is seeking an Area Manager to oversee Branch Managers across Costa Mesa, Long Beach, and surrounding areas, guiding sales performance and operational excellence. You will ensure regulatory compliance and drive customer service standards while supporting recruitment and development initiatives.

The role requires leadership across multiple branches, regular region-wide coaching, and collaboration with senior leaders to implement strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years’ progressive branch operations and/or sales management experience in financial services.
• Minimum 5 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Solid technology skills with MS Office and banking software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Branch Managers across multiple locations in the region.
• Lead regular meetings with Branch Managers and provide development coaching.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to bank policies across branches.
• Drive sales leadership and branch performance through strategic plans.
• Monitor branch operations, costs, and profitability; implement improvements.
