Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking a seasoned operations leader to oversee the design, integration and service of audiovisual systems. You will drive performance across engineering, budgeting, and project delivery, mentoring technicians and coordinating internal and external teams.

You will ensure client satisfaction, manage schedules, and maintain project documentation while traveling to multiple job sites as needed. This is a full-time on-site role in Mesa, AZ with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate leadership and management skills in a team environment.
• Experience managing budgets and department resources.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of construction project management as applied to AV projects.
• Proficient with AV systems design and installation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering, CAD, programming, field engineering, shop activities, installation and repair services.
• Oversee external outsourced or subcontract work.
• Oversee budget for technical services department and advise General Manager.
• Mentor technicians of various levels.
• Monitor labor expenditures to stay within budget.
• Coordinate manpower for installation jobs.
• Document project activities per guidelines.
• Travel to various job sites as required.
