Job summary

Yusen Logistics Americas Inc. in Elk Grove Village, IL, is seeking a Regional Air Freight Sales Manager to drive volume growth across key regions and industries.

You will acquire mid- to large-sized customers with regular airfreight needs, develop strategic sales plans, and lead end-to-end airfreight solutions. The role requires 10+ years of airfreight business development, deep knowledge of operations, Incoterms, and strong negotiation abilities with a focus on Pharma/Healthcare, Aviation,

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of proven success in an airfreight business development position, specifically with key accounts.
• Proven track record of securing and growing airfreight with mid- to large-sized accounts (250+ TEU's/annum).
• Sales & Relationship Expertise: negotiate and consultatively sell to mid- and large-sized accounts, build executive relationships.
• Airfreight & Supply Chain Knowledge: origin/destination handling, capacity management, Incoterms, trade compliance.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development & Strategic Sales: identify and secure mid- to large-sized customers with airfreight volumes, develop strategic plans, meet targets.
• Relationship Management & Account Growth: build strong relationships with decision-makers to retain and expand share of wallet.
• Solution Design & Expertise: provide end-to-end airfreight solutions and guidance on regulations and handling needs.
• Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration: partner with Product, Operations, Credit, and International offices.
• Market Intelligence & Opportunity Development: monitor trends and competitors to identify opportunities.
• Sales Forecasting & Performance: maintain pipeline and provide accurate forecasts in CRM.
• Air Product Representation & Industry Engagement: represent the company at events and industry updates.
