Job summary

Yusen Logistics Americas Inc. is seeking a Head of Industry Vertical - High Technology to guide development strategies for key verticals in the Americas.

The role partners with senior management to align with global strategy and product development plans, shaping regional growth and collaboration. Qualifications

• At least six years of BD experience in Logistics and Supply Chain, with two years in the vertical.
• Experience managing a BD team preferred.
• Ability to navigate large regional/global organizations to build consensus and deliverables.
• Excellent communication and presentations skills for external customers.
• Proven ability to build relationships with external stakeholders.
• Ability to coach and manage direct reports.
• Previous CRM experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance US/ Americas BD teams with Industry Vertical development strategies.
• Attract and retain Industry Vertical (New) business to achieve metrics for assigned accounts and BD team.
• Produce new business with key local or regional industry customers in collaboration with BD teams and as an IC.
• Create development strategy and budget aligned with Global HQ's strategy and product direction.
• Prepare presentations and materials with Marketing to promote growth in the Americas.
• Work with leadership to ensure opportunities are approached holistically as a regional customer would expect.
• Represent the company at industry-based trade shows and network events as appropriate.
• Utilize CRM to monitor and track pipeline activity in the Americas Industry Vertical sector.
• Collect and record performance results in the Americas Industry Vertical sector.
• Maintain monthly communications with Head of BD and HQ Industry Vertical Head.
