Yusen Logistics Americas Inc. is seeking a Regional Air Freight Sales Manager to drive volume growth across IL and NY by acquiring mid- to large-sized customers with regular airfreight needs.

You will lead strategic sales plans, manage relationships with key decision-makers, and deliver end-to-end airfreight solutions while collaborating with global teams. The role emphasizes market intelligence, pricing competitiveness, and long-term agreements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven success in an airfreight business development position with key accounts.
• Proven ability to negotiate and consultatively sell to mid- to large-sized accounts.
• Deep understanding of global airfreight operations, Incoterms, and trade compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred

Responsibilities

• New Business Development & Strategic Sales: Identify and secure mid- to large-sized customers with significant airfreight volumes.
• Relationship Management & Account Growth: Build and maintain relationships to retain customers and negotiate long-term agreements.
• Solution Design & Subject Matter Expertise: Provide end-to-end airfreight solutions including regulations and handling requirements.
• Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration: Partner with Product, Procurement, Operations, Credit, and International Offices.
• Market Intelligence & Opportunity Development: Monitor trends and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Sales Forecasting & Performance Management: Maintain pipeline and provide accurate forecasts.
• Air Product Representation & Industry Engagement: Represent the company at events and market updates.
