Job summary

Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc. is seeking a Freight Forwarder Imports to ensure timely importation of goods by air. You will coordinate with airlines, customs agents, and trucking partners, manage shipment data, and secure customs release for delivery to final destinations.

You will also prepare essential customs documentation, engage with the Customs Brokerage team, and handle related financial tasks within the break bulk department, contributing to accurate billing and fee management.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field (Imports experience is desirable).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage importation of goods by air, securing customs release and delivery to final destination.
• Coordinate with airlines, customs agents, and trucking companies; track shipments and provide customer updates.
• Prepare and submit required documentation to Customs Brokerage team (in-house and external lines).
• Handle related accounting tasks for the break bulk department including invoicing and rate amendments.
