Job summary

MIMEDX is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales in targeted physician practices, hospitals, and wound care facilities within the assigned territory. The role focuses on promoting products and tissues, expanding market share, and delivering compelling presentations using approved resources.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in related fields and a track record of achieving sales targets in medical device, biotech, or tissue segments.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in related field with 1-3 years progressive responsibilities.
• MS/MA with 1-3 years related field; certification may be required in some areas.
• Prefer 3-4 years of experience in the medical device, biotechnology, and tissue segments of the healthcare industry.
• Previous experience in high-growth organizations and developing relationships that fueled the organization’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve defined sales performance goals (based on historical company sales).
• Identify, define, and execute market opportunities by implementing new marketing strategies and sales plans.
• Select presentation content from company approved resources; conduct group and individual presentations to customers and prospects.
• Research and resolve reimbursement issues for customers, working within established policies and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the reimbursement team to support physicians and billing departments.
• Provide accurate reporting and tracking of sales activities and territory forecasts.
• Maintain awareness of industry activities and local market knowledge.
• Utilize clinical studies to educate customers on product merits and tissue offerings.
• Define territory plans to meet short-term and long-term revenue goals.
