Job summary

ETSS is seeking a part-time Resettlement Case-Aide in Columbus, OH. You will coordinate with Case Manager on pre-arrival activities, assist refugees with airport reception, housing, public benefits, and daily records.

You will also schedule appointments, guide clients to community resources, and ensure services meet ORR guidelines. Candidate should communicate clearly in English, follow federal and state laws, and maintain respectful relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Case Manager on pre-arrival activities, housing, and sponsor communications.
• Conduct airport reception and home safety orientation for arriving refugees.
• Complete applications for Social Security cards, public benefits, and registrations on time.
• Document visits and all case activities as required by guidelines.
• Provide transportation for refugee services as needed and compliant with safety laws.
• Work with Case Manager and Program Manager to align services with ORR policies.
• Help clients access community services and complete referrals and forms.
• Create, file, close, and maintain client records daily.
• Identify appropriate community resources that are culturally and linguistically appropriate.
• Schedule mail, email, and appointments for families as needed.
• Support other key program areas as needed
• Other duties to ensure smooth operation of the program/department
