Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in nonprofit or social services environment.
• Minimum three years of case management experience.
• Experience with refugees in resettlement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for clients and serve as a resource.
• Assist with refugee arrival preparations and housing needs.
• Greet refugees at airport and arrange transportation to residences.
• Provide orientation following arrival per guidelines.
• Develop and support self-sufficiency plans with ETSS staff.
• Assist clients in accessing public benefits and services.
• Ensure initial health screening and medical care when needed.
• Coordinate medical appointments and transportation as required.
• Arrange interpreters to ensure culturally appropriate service delivery.
• Maintain timely and accurate case notes and documentation.
• Prepare data and reports as required and timely.
• Liaise with local community on resettlement questions.
• Assist clients in obtaining and retaining employment.
• Coordinate services with staff to ensure comprehensive support.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in outreach activities.
