Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a refugee and immigrant services case manager in the United States. You will provide culturally sensitive case management to children from arrival through the reunification process, maintaining accurate files and ensuring service delivery per contract guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Human Services or related field, with a Master’s preferred, and at least one year in child welfare or case management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Behavioral Sciences, or a Social Sciences field from an accredited college.
• Master’s level degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field of study from an accredited college, preferred.
• At least one year of experience in social work with child welfare and/or case management, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive case management services to refugee and immigrant children during the defined timeframe from their arrival to the United States.
• Maintain up-to-date information in client files as required by stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery of services as described in partner organizations’ handbook and contractual agreement.
• Complete paperwork within appropriate time frames based on contract guidelines.
• Attend weekly meetings with supervisor to consult on cases, and to review case plan and direction.
• Attend weekly and monthly internal staff meetings with stakeholders to review case plan and direction.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support the sponsorship process for minors reunifying with identified sponsor; this includes scheduling and leading weekly reunification staffing meetings.
• Oversee the intake and discharge processes for clients entering and exiting the program in collaboration with internal treatment team.
• Meet with clients weekly and provide transportation to clients, as needed.
• Stay abreast of all agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to social services.
• Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department.
• May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany sponsored event.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
