Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, or a related field.
• Child welfare and/or case management experience preferred.
• Broad knowledge of basic social work principles and methods.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
• Mature judgment and cultural sensitivity for refugee populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to work independently with high confidentiality.
• Must pass medical examinations and immunization requirements.
• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Complete trauma-focused intake and orient youth to the agency and foster home.
• Ensure youth receive mandatory medical, mental health, educational, and supportive services.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting for foster children in care.
• Lead treatment teams and participate in weekly staff meetings.
• Provide education and support to foster parents and coordinate with education staff.
• Attend required court hearings and accompany clients as needed.
• Coordinate transportation and refer community resources as needed.
• Adhere to agency, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
