Job summary

Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Case Manager for Home Study and Post Release Services in Wisconsin. You will walk with refugee and immigrant children toward family reunification and support foster families who provide a home away from home.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Human Services or related field and have 2+ years of case management experience in child and family services, or 3+ years in refugee/immigration fields. Travel up to 65% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field from an accredited college.
• 2+ years of case management in child and family services, or 3+ years in refugee/immigrant fields if education is less.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Ability to service a diverse client group, including refugees.
• Must travel up to 65% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide Post Release Services (PRS) and comprehensive case management.
• Maintain caseload in line with contract terms and agency expectations.
• Conduct home visits as needed and complete required reports and case notes.
• Provide psycho-educational information, referrals, and support to children and families.
• Develop and maintain community partnerships and refer families to resources.
• Assess safety and suitability of placements for refugee/immigrant children.
• Attend mandatory trainings and weekly supervision meetings.
