Job summary

Bethany Christian Services in Paw Paw, MI is seeking a Case Manager to work with unaccompanied children and families, guiding reunification and sponsorship efforts. The role requires culturally sensitive case management, coordination with stakeholders, and adherence to contract timelines.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Human Services and a Master’s in a related field, plus 1 year in child welfare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Behavioral Sciences, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in social work with child welfare and/or case management preferred.
• Bilingual English and a second language preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate cross-culturally and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally sensitive case management to refugee and immigrant children within contract timelines.
• Maintain up-to-date client files and ensure service delivery per partner handbooks.
• Complete paperwork within contract guidelines and coordinate with supervisor on case plans.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and coordinate with stakeholders on sponsorship and reunification.
• Oversee intake and discharge processes and provide transportation as needed.
• Stay informed on agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements related to social services.
• May participate in Bethany-sponsored events and perform other duties as assigned.
