Job summary

Church World Service in Houston is seeking a Case Manager to provide comprehensive case management for refugees, SIV holders, and other ORR-eligible newcomers. You will develop individualized service plans, connect clients to resources, and advocate with providers to ensure access to services and stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–4 years’ experience working with refugees or immigrants in case management.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word and Excel) and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth case management services to refugees, SIV holders, and ORR-eligible newcomers.
• Collaborate with program team to ensure coordinated service delivery.
• Develop individualized service plans and support navigation of resources.
• Advocate with local providers to ensure equitable access to services.
• Build and maintain relationships with health and mental health providers.
• Provide trainings to service providers to enhance cultural competency.
• Organize workshops and group sessions on literacy, stress management, and well-being.
• Ensure accurate case file documentation and data entry.
• Travel regularly within the service delivery area for home visits and meetings.
