Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area is seeking a Case Manager to provide extensive case management to refugees served by the Reception and Placement Services team. The role ensures eligible clients are enrolled in appropriate programs and oversees program requirements.

You will ease the transition, empower the refugee, and set the client on the path to self-sufficiency while coordinating with area agencies and reporting data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in social work or related field (or work-equivalent).
• 1+ year of experience in refugee resettlement.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred; strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide extensive case management to refugees served by the Reception and Placement Services team.
• Ensure eligible clients are enrolled in appropriate programs and monitor program requirements.
• Coordinate with area agencies and prepare and submit required reports.
