Job summary

Hussmann Corporation is seeking a field service Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair HVAC/R systems in supermarket environments. You will perform routine maintenance on supermarket refrigeration and self-contained merchandisers with supervision from a Master or Lead Technician.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, EPA 608 certification, and 5 years of field experience (or 3 years with technical school certification).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC-R technical knowledge preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification.
• 5 years field experience or 3 years with Technical School certification.
• Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed, routine maintenance procedures on supermarket refrigeration systems and self-contained merchandisers with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems in supermarkets, convenience stores and cold storage facilities.
• Inspect for leaks, replace components, and verify system pressures and temperature readings.
• Document work tickets and time sheets accurately and promptly using handheld devices.
• Maintain truck inventory and adhere to vehicle maintenance guidelines.
