VIPCARE is seeking a Referral Coordinator to manage timely patient referrals across VIPcare clinics in Florida. You will coordinate inbound/outbound referrals, verify demographics and insurance, schedule appointments, and ensure documentation is exchanged with EMR systems.

Formación

• 3+ years administrative, scheduling or related experience.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Familiar with local healthcare providers and resources.
• Experience with medical terminology and EMR is preferred.
• Proficient with Google Workspace and reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently and with clinic teams.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate inbound and outbound patient referrals per procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review orders, contact patients and offices, and assist with scheduling across VIPcare clinics.
• Receive referral requests, obtain required information, and coordinate scheduling within the specialty practice.
• Verify demographics and insurance, confirm referral requirements, and resolve issues with carriers or teams.
• Explain referral instructions to patients and address scheduling barriers or questions.
• Maintain documentation of referral activities in EMR and tracking systems.
• Follow up on referrals, appointments, and missing documentation to ensure completion.
• Coordinate retrieval/distribution of notes, results, and records after appointments.
• Monitor queues and escalate delays as needed.
• Respond to calls and inquiries with professional, patient-centered service.
