Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical records, scheduling software, and Microsoft Outlook.
• 1–3 years of progressive work experience in a medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referrals and scheduling of diagnostic testing and specialty appointments.
• Register patients with complete demographics and current insurance information.
• Complete prior authorization processes for diagnostics and specialty services.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance to ensure timely approvals and understand referrals.
• Document patient contacts and progress in the EHR.
• May travel between WFHC locations to provide coverage.
