Ideal candidates have 1+ year ICD-9/CPT-4 coding experience and healthcare/clerical background.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required].
• 1+ years of ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding experience [Preferred].
• Administrative or clerical healthcare experience, call center experience or related [Preferred].
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Communicates clearly and concisely with coworkers, patients, and physicians.
• Maintains referral integrity, processes all orders, and ensures insurance requirements are met.
• Answers phone calls promptly, assists patients with questions, and schedules procedures as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and provides professional service across departments.
