Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-Arkansa is seeking a Reentry Program Specialist to assist justice-involved and veteran populations in achieving self-sufficiency. You will support a 16-week paid program, provide intensive case management, and deliver targeted curriculum to build soft skills and on-the-job experience.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, conduct intake assessments, develop Individual Service Plans, and coordinate connections to community services to help participants gain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years in public service or social services.
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system and experience with ex-prisoners or addiction recovery.
• Knowledge of veteran support services or veteran experience is beneficial.
• Ability to travel throughout the designated region as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management to support reintegration goals.
• Design and deliver educational and training programs for pre- and post-transition.
• Facilitate intake, complete needs assessments, and create Individual Service Plans.
• Provide information and referrals and maintain professional boundaries.
• Develop and maintain community relationships with service providers and stakeholders.
• Discharge planning and follow-up in transfers to other programs.
• Coordinate staff in-service training and mentor program participants.
• Complete daily and weekly progress notes and required documentation.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to promote responsible behaviors.
