Job summary

NFI Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a Reentry Specialist to provide both institutional and community-based case management services to justice-involved individuals.

The role supports reentry across the continuum, delivering evidence-based services that promote stability, skill development, and reintegration into the community across Middleton and partner sites. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, or related field, with preference for experience

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Experience working with justice-involved populations is preferred.
  • Experience facilitating groups is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and evaluate participant needs using designated tools.
  • Facilitate evidence-based psychoeducational groups in alignment with program curriculum.
  • Develop and implement individualized reentry plans with ongoing progress documentation.
  • Monitor participant compliance with program expectations and ECSD rules and regulations.
  • Lead reentry and discharge planning to support successful community transition.
  • Ensure continuity of care and data transfer across program sites (Middleton, ECPRC, WIT, STAR).
  • Provide support, guidance, and advocacy to help individuals navigate barriers and access resources.
  • Maintain accurate records, data entry, and reporting per NFI MA and ECSD policies.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and conferences.
  • Provide case management, referrals, and aftercare support services.
