Job summary

Anti-Recidivism Coalition is seeking a Reentry Specialist to provide holistic reentry services for emerging adults returning to their communities from an in-custody program. The role is onsite and requires building strong relationships with participants, staff, and community partners.

The ideal candidate has case-management experience, understands the criminal justice system, and is committed to ARC's mission of social justice and reform.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years supervising staff in criminal justice or related population.
• Experience with casefile review, group documentation, and contract compliance is essential.
• Residential experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Connect participants to services, benefits, and resources from local, state, and federal agencies.
• Coordinate reentry plans with institutional staff and community resources.
• Build rapport and trust with program participants.
• Support youth at required court appearances and provide advocacy letters when requested.
• Supervise and support ARC Credible Messengers on site.
• Data entry focused on maintaining resource directories, reentry plans, progress notes and reports.
• Develop onsite rehabilitative life-skills workshops and support groups.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings; participate in stakeholder events.
