ATHENA Consulting is seeking a Re-Entry Transition Specialist in Charlotte, NC. This full-time role provides case management and re-entry support to incarcerated residents preparing to return to the community.

Responsibilities include developing transition and employment plans, assisting with resumes, connecting participants with resources, and maintaining records in a structured detention center environment. The position requires teamwork and strict confidentiality.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in case management, transition planning, employment services, or re-entry services preferred.
• Experience in criminal justice, corrections, human services, workforce development, or related setting preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Identify eligible participants and facilitate program orientations, job readiness workshops, and risk/needs assessments.
• Maintain an assigned caseload and develop individualized transition plans.
• Develop individual employment plans to support participants' career goals.
• Assist participants with creating and updating resumes and employment-related applications.
• Obtain identification, records, and other documentation needed for transition, training, education, and employment.
• Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
• Connect participants with education, training, employment, housing, and other resources.
• Track and evaluate participant program compliance and maintain data for reports.
