Ross Innovative Employment Solutions in North Carolina is seeking a Pathway Home Career Advisor to provide pre-release and post-release workforce and reentry services to justice-involved individuals preparing to transition back into the community.

The role supports participants through career planning, employment preparation, case management, and coordinating services, in correctional facilities, NCWorks Career Centers, and community settings with evening and weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in workforce development, social work, criminal justice, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in workforce development, reentry services, case management, counseling, or related programs preferred.
• Knowledge of or experience with justice-involved individuals and reentry challenges.
• Some local travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, enroll, and guide eligible participants through program services in facilities and community settings.
• Assess work history, education, skills, barriers, and identify solutions and career pathways.
• Develop individualized employment and service plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Provide career advising, resume help, interview prep, job search support, workshops, and referrals.
• Maintain regular contact with participants to support job readiness and retention.
• Coordinate with employers, facilities, NCWorks partners, educational institutions, and community organizations.
• Maintain information on local employers, resources, training opportunities, and services.
• Participate in and/or host job fairs and workforce outreach events.
• Maintain participant files, case notes, attendance, retention tracking, and program reporting.
