Job summary

ATTIC Correctional Services, Inc. seeks an Employment Support Specialist to work with residents at Oakhill Correctional Institution, focusing on job readiness, resume building, and community reintegration.

You’ll collaborate with correctional staff, employers, and community partners to deliver tailored support. The role is based in a correctional setting, with duties spanning from data collection to facilitating out-of-cell activities and life skills training.

Qualifications

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Experience with evidence-based models of case management, coaching, or counseling.
• Familiarity with local resources and supportive mechanisms to assist residents in re-entry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update Resident files and program participation data.
• Coordinate with supervisors and staff to ensure schedules and driver’s license checks.
• Facilitate out-of-cell activities and participate in RHU/Work Release teams.
• Develop and implement lesson plans for activities including DBT and mindfulness.
• Coach residents to obtain and maintain employment and prepare for re-entry.
