Job summary

University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB seeks a Caseworker to independently manage intake, assess client needs, and develop tailored case plans for justice-involved individuals. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and collaboration with parole officers and service providers.

Typical schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday with possible evenings and Saturdays. Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or higher; bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Associate degree or higher with 2+ years in criminal justice population OR high school diploma with 4+ years in similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborate with clients and professionals.
• Typing/keystroke skills required; 45 WPM minimum.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake to orient and assess client needs, goals, and risk factors.
• Develop tailored case management plans including exit planning for aftercare services.
• Provide guidance and referrals to housing, job training, counseling, legal services, etc.
• Monitor progress and update case management plan; coordinate with care partners.
• Ensure records, HIPAA compliance, and reporting to supervisors and stakeholders.
