Job summary

University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB seeks a Caseworker to perform intake, assess client needs, and develop tailored case management plans for individuals in the criminal justice population. You will work under supervision, coordinating with partners to ensure access to housing, job training, and counseling services.

The role emphasizes documentation, compliance with policies and HIPAA standards, and collaboration with parole officers and service providers. Travel may be occasional.

Qualifications

• Education and experience as described in the minimum qualifications.
• Knowledge of reentry programs, criminal justice systems and resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake to orient and assess client needs, goals, and risk factors.
• Develop individualized case management plans including exit planning for aftercare.
• Provide guidance and referrals to resources such as housing, job training, counseling, legal services.
• Provide face-to-face interaction to monitor progress and support case management.
• Maintain current records and compile reports for supervisors and stakeholders.
