Job summary

Harting Americas is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator based in Elgin, IL, to support the Talent Acquisition team and manage full-cycle hiring processes. You will coordinate interviews, travel logistics, and onboarding while maintaining the applicant tracking system and candidate experience.

The ideal candidate brings organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to a fast-paced environment and will partner with recruiters and hiring managers to deliver efficient recruitment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of recruiting coordination or HR support experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interview appointments (phone, video, onsite) with speed and efficiency.
• Schedule interview panel meetings and follow-up feedback sessions.
• Act as primary contact for temporary staffing agencies and fulfill processes.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for candidates and provide a welcoming experience.
• Arrange candidate travel logistics and reimbursements.
• Develop and revise job descriptions with department leaders.
• Assist with passive candidate sourcing to build talent pipelines.
• Prepare offer letters and coordinate onboarding sessions.
• Build partnerships with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates.
• Track, maintain, and report recruiting-related metrics.
