Job description

The Recruiting Assistant will support the Human Resources team by coordinating recruitment efforts, managing candidate communications, and helping ensure a seamless hiring experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to build a career in HR or recruiting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interviews and manage scheduling logistics for candidates and interviewers
  • Communicate with candidates regarding interview details, next steps, and feedback
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) with accurate candidate information
  • Assist with job postings across internal platforms and external job boards
  • Conduct initial resume screenings and forward qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Support recruiters in sourcing and outreach efforts
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to track hiring metrics
  • Assist in onboarding processes as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred
  • 1+ year of administrative or coordination experience (recruiting or HR experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms is a plus
