Talon Hiring Solutions in Birmingham, AL is seeking a motivated Recruiter to join our growing team. You will source, screen, and place qualified candidates across diverse industries, building strong pipelines and presenting concise summaries to clients.

Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple roles in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This on-site role requires you to be located in the greater Birmingham area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in recruiting or high-volume staffing.
• Experience with ATS and sourcing tools.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple roles and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other recruiting channels.
• Review resumes and conduct phone screens to assess candidates’ experience, qualifications, communication skills, and interest.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.
• Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand job requirements, priorities, and candidate expectations.
• Present qualified candidates to clients with concise, professional summaries highlighting relevant experience and qualifications.
• Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Manage multiple open positions while prioritizing recruiting activities to meet placement goals and client deadlines.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, recruiting activity, and pipeline updates in the applicant tracking system.
• Provide a positive candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and follow-through.
• Develop an understanding of client needs, industry trends, and local talent markets.

What You’ll Bring:

• 2+ years in recruiting, staffing or high volume recruiting experience preferred.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Experienced using recruiting technology, applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, Indeed and other sourcing tools
