Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a proactive Recruiter to support service centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates. The role involves travel to various centers, career fairs and events to build a strong talent pipeline.

You will collaborate with the Recruiting Manager, conduct interviews (in-person and virtual), manage scheduling, and assist new hires with onboarding. Strong communication, multitasking and HR experience are valued.

Aufgaben

• Travel to Service Centers, career fairs, schools or clubs for recruiting events
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies with goals
• Develop and source a strong candidate pipeline via social media, job boards and referrals
• Review applications at various levels and recruit hourly employees and interns
• Conduct interviews in-person and virtual; set up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Guide candidates through the interview process and coordinate onboarding
• Create training schedules for new employees and support new-hire onboarding at the Service Center
• Maintain communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires withon-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
