Dayton Freight Lines is seeking a Recruiter to support our service centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates. The role requires travel to multiple service centers, career fairs and hiring events, collaborating with the Recruiting Manager to meet staffing goals, and building a strong pipeline using social media, job boards and referrals.

You will interview candidates in person and virtually, coordinate interviews for Hiring Managers, and help with onboarding

Formación

• Detail oriented and able to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience conducting interviews and reviewing applications is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Willingness to travel to Service Centers, Career Fairs, school or club presentations, and hiring events.
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals.
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc.
• Review applications for candidates at various levels.
• Recruit hourly employees and Interns.
• Interview applicants both in-person and virtually.
• Set up interviews for Hiring Managers.
• Follow up with candidates during the interview process.
• Advance candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in the ATS.
• Create Training Schedule for new employees.
• Assist new hires with onboarding and orientation at the Service Center level.
• Train new Service Center employees.
• Maintain communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs.
• Other duties as assigned

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires withon-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
