Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines in Michigan is seeking a Recruiter to support service centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

You will travel to service centers and events, partner with the Recruiting Manager to align strategies, source candidates through social media, job boards and referrals, conduct interviews, coordinate the process, and help onboard new hires at the service centers.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to service centers, fairs, and hiring events.
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies with goals.
• Develop and source a strong candidate pipeline using social media, job boards, referrals, and agencies.
• Review applications for candidates at various levels.
• Recruit hourly employees and interns.
• Interview applicants in person and virtually.
• Set up interviews for Hiring Managers.
• Follow up with candidates during interviews.
• Advance candidates through interview and hiring in ATS.
• Create training schedules for new employees.
• Assist new hires with onboarding and orientation at service centers.
• Train new service center employees.
• Maintain communication with service center leadership on staffing needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires withon-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
