Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines in Wisconsin seeks a Recruiter to support Service Centers in recruiting, hiring, training and onboarding quality candidates.

The role requires travel to various centers, collaboration with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies, and development of a strong pipeline using job boards, social media, referrals, and agencies. Interviewing and onboarding responsibilities are included.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Service Centers, career fairs, schools, and hiring events.
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies with goals.
• Develop and source candidate pipelines via job boards, social media, referrals, agencies.
• Review applications and recruit hourly employees and interns.
• Interview applicants in-person and virtually; set up interviews for Hiring Managers.
• Maintain communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs.
• Assist onboarding and orientation; train new Service Center employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring Managers
• Following up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires withon-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
