Job summary

Community Health Resources (CHR) in Willimantic, CT, seeks a Recovery Support Specialist for the REST Center. Full-time, 40 hours/week with schedules including overnight hours (12am-8am).

You will assist clients in setting recovery goals, perform assessments, and craft personalized plans, while coordinating with care teams and providing crisis intervention as needed. Lived experience is valued; CPSRP preferred.

Qualifications

• Lived experience recovering from mental health or substance use challenges.
• At least 2+ years working with target populations; CPSRP preferred.
• Certification in CPSRP or Recovery Coach CCAR, or equivalent within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying and advocating recovery goals.
• Conduct program assessments and screens as indicated.
• Create individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed.
• Deliver case management and coordinate with supports and teams.
• Document service activities and maintain compliance with standards.
