Job summary

CHR Community Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. This full-time role supports individuals in crisis through recovery-focused care with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include client-centered planning, crisis intervention, and linkage to community resources. A CPSRP or Recovery Coach Certification is preferred, with licensure and a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Lived recovery experience required or strongly preferred.
• Certification as CPSRP or Recovery Coach Certification or equivalent required or within 6 months.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying recovery goals and advocate for their plan.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Conduct program-specific assessments and help develop person-centered treatment plans.
• Provide case management and connect to community resources and supports.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with agency standards.
