Job summary

American Addiction Centers seeks a Treatment Advocate to support patients in their recovery journey. You will welcome patients, help orient them to programming, and assist with daily schedules while coordinating with the treatment team.

You will also help maintain documentation, participate in team meetings, and ensure care aligns with policy and privacy standards. This is a hands-on role in a dynamic clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Behavioral Sciences (social sciences, human services, counseling or psychology).
• Valid Driver’s License required with insurable driving record.
• Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new patients and orient them to programming schedule and rules.
• Assist with coordination of patient daily schedule including treatment meetings and counseling sessions.
• Provide support and encouragement to patients and their participation in group, individual, and family counseling services.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure documentation meets contract, licensure, and accreditation standards.
