Job summary

American Addiction Centers is seeking a Treatment Advocate (TA) to observe daily activities and assist in the recovery process within our care teams.

You will welcome new patients, help orient their programming, support treatment meetings, and ensure timely documentation while transporting clients and visitors in the company vehicle. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and adherence to HIPAA and facility policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution.
• Associates or Bachelor's in Behavioral Sciences preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License with insurable driving record.
• Experience with electronic health record software preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to read, write, and present information.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new patients and orient them to programming schedules.
• Assist with service coordination and daily schedule.
• Operate the company vehicle to transport clients and visitors.
• Ensure documentation meets contracts, licensure, and standards.
• Coordinate with treatment team and participate in staff meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
