Job summary

American Addiction Centers seeks a Treatment Advocate to support patients in daily activities and recovery. You will collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate services and assist with documentation, while operating the company vehicle for transport.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, safety rounds, and encouraging participation in group and individual counseling. A valid driver’s license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution.
• Associates or BA in Behavioral Sciences preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable record required.
• Experience with EHR software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new patients and orient them to programming schedules and rules.
• Assist with safety rounds, transport, and daily patient coordination.
• Support treatment team and participate in meetings and documentation.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Promote patient participation in group, individual, and family counseling.
